I realized sometime today that I had not posted a blog post this week, oops! So Sunday (September 30) I turned 26, I do not feel twenty-six at all. If I were the age I feel, I would probably be 18 maybe 20. I don't mean I feel immature, I just feel young, not that twenty-six is old.. ok enough with that rambling!
For my birthday my Daddy made homemade mexican food, it was delicious, and my Mama made a homemade six-layer yellow cake with chocolate fudge frosting in between each layer. YUM! I joked that it was sinful. It is so good. It is one of those cakes that you don't want to waste and have to throw out but you hate to eat it all because you want it to last. Mama said she would teach me how to make it. It is a recipe that my Aunt Lois gave to Mama. Since then my Aunt went home to be with Jesus.

Alabama lounge pants from my Parents! Roll Tide!! The red material is like a jersey t-shirt fabric and the pink, red and white combo on the side of the pants feels like a ribbed tank top! I love them! I was surprised that my Daddy found these pants at our local Wal-Mart in Mississippi!

Alabama lounge pants I received in the mail today from my sister Kim, brother-in-law Bo and nephew Austin! I can't wait to wear these! They will go great with my Alabama hoodie that they gave me for Christmas. Roll Tide! (Can you tell I love Alabama?!)
Awesome cd my friend Mike from Kentucky sent me for my birthday! I love hearing Collin Raye sing! Thank you Mike!!
My dear friend Stephanie sent me this beautiful card she wrote with encouragement and birthday wishes that touched my heart! She also gave me this book "Sacred Singleness" by Leslie Ludy. I cannot wait to read it!

Several of my family and friends commented on my facebook with sweet birthday wishes. Customers and people browsing my etsy shop (www.MardiRobyn.com) sent me messages on etsy telling me Happy Birthday! One sweet person sent me the following graphic that made me smile!
I am very blessed. I wish I could hug each and every one of you family, friends, and customers and personally tell you thank you, but since that is impossble via the internet, I want to use this blog post as an opportunity to thank everyone! I have said it repeatedly but it is how I feel, I am blessed!
