Going through some old writings of mine, I came across this one I wrote when I was fourteen.

Come on and rise and shine

For the light has come

Lift up your voice and cry out loud

For the glory of the Lord

He has risen!

Lift up thine eyes and see

That the Lord is good

And His mercy endures forever

Come and be glad

Lift up your hands and testify

For Jesus is alive

Call on Him with a loud voice

Make unto Him a living sacrifice

Rejoice in the Lord for He is worthy of praise

And lift up your voice and sing

Arise and shine

I said arise and shine

For the Lord has risen

The light has come

And His mercy endures forever

Forever He is Lord.
